History

PJ’s 4x4 was established in late 2013 when owner Peter Don discovered that Australia lacked high quality premium canopies and ute lids that were both stylish and functional.

After many months of research, Peter partnered with a well-known canopy company from the UK to fill the void for world class designed canopies in Australia. After being the distributor of the Pegasus brand with the TwentyTen Canopy in Australia for quite some time, PJ's 4x4 are now going solo, moving forward in leaps and bounds to create and manufacture the latest in stylish and innovative canopies to the Australian people.

The unique Top-Up range was the next addition to the PJ's 4x4 catalogue. After seeing so many tradesman and outdoor adventurers struggling to fit even the most basic of equipment into their ute tub without having to remove their ute lid, Peter sought to solve the ever too common problem. Upon many of phone calls and even trips overseas, Peter found the one and only Top-Up!

With its amazingly versatile patented design, the Top-Up Ute Lid is in a class of its own and is now distributed anywhere in Australia exclusively through PJ's 4x4.
